Policy regarding data protection and security

We support the protection of our users' privacy. Personal data is only used in accordance with the following policy regarding data protection and security (privacy policy).

As a private body, we are subject to the provisions set out in the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG). We have implemented technical and organisational measures to protect your rights and ensured that the regulations regarding data protection are also observed by external service providers participating in this offer. Your data shall be processed only insofar as this is permitted by special laws or insofar as you have given your consent.

For data protection purposes, data which could be used to identify you (particularly the IP address, date, time, pages viewed and actions carried out, the webpage viewed previously and the browser and operating system used) is stored on our server temporarily when you access our website. This data is not analysed, unless anonymously for statistical purposes.

You provide us with your personal data as part of your application to Foreman Fitness Products GmbH. This data is stored on our server in compliance with the legal regulations governing data protection.
This data is collected, processed and used by Foreman Fitness Products GmbH to assess your application. The data is not passed on to third parties.
Foreman Fitness Products GmbH will store the data submitted to us during the application process for a period of 12 months, irrespective of the outcome of the application process.
Applicants must agree to their data being used as stated above. You can also request that inaccurate data be corrected. In this case, please contact us using the relevant e-mail address.

Personal data is information that identifies you. This includes, for example, details such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. Use of the contact form does not require the disclosure of personal data. In certain cases, however, we require your name, address and other details so that we are able to provide the services requested.
This applies, for example, when sending information material or answering individual questions.
We collect only the data we need to be able to provide the services. We only process personal data in order to fulfil the function requested.

When you view one of our Web sites, we may store some data on your computer in the form of a "cookie" to automatically recognize your PC next time you visit. Cookies can help us in many ways, for example, by allowing us to tailor a Web site to better match your interests or to store your password to save you having to re-enter it each time. If you do not wish to receive cookies, please configure your Internet browser to erase all cookies from your computer's hard drive, block all cookies or to receive a warning before a cookie is stored.

Telecommunications secrecy also protects the contents of your mail and information entered on forms from being accessed and processed without authorisation. However, we must point out that the transfer of data via the Internet is not secure. It is not guaranteed that transferred data will not find its way into the hands of unauthorised third parties, or even that it will not be corrupted or deleted. If you want to avoid the risks associated with data transfer, please send us your comments, wishes and suggestions by post to the address provided in the site notice.

If you send us an e-mail, you must accept that, in principle, the contents of the e-mail and any attachments may be accessed, corrupted or deleted by unauthorised third parties. To avoid this risk, you can instead contact Foreman Fitness Products GmbH by post.

You are entitled to request information about your personal data that has been stored by us - this will be provided free of charge (Section 34, para. 1 BDSG). The legal provisions also entitle you to request that your personal data be corrected, blocked or deleted.

Should you have any questions regarding this privacy policy, please contact the person named in the site notice as the person responsible or our data protection officer (e-mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
